Blank pages in PDF documents can be removed with this tool.
When PDF documents are created from scanned document pages, a lot of blank pages are likely to remain in the document. Even in regular PDF documents, sometimes blank pages are left intentionally. So, when you need to remove such blank pages, this kind of a tool can prove to be handy. Doing it manually, could be quite awkward and time consuming as well as an error prone affair. Automatic page remover tools can scan a given document, determine which are blank pages and mark them for removal. The determination is usually done on the basis of finding out how many non-blank pixels are there on a page. A threshold needs to be specified below which a page will be taken to a blank one. The software will present a report of such blank pages detected.
Quite often pages may have perforations for the purpose of binding them. On scanned pages the perforation outlines will appear as non-blank pixels and increase the count when being scanned. To avoid such problems, you are able to specify areas to be avoided for deciding non-blank pixels. To be completely safe, all the pages found to be blank could be backed up before permanently deleting them. The complete document need not be specified. You could process only a part of the document to be processed. This utility works on Windows and can process a batch of these documents. It is simple to use. This is a good tool.
